Minimum qualifications for admission to undergraduate programs are as follows:
1. Minimum 2nd division or minimum GPA of 2.50 in both SSC and HSC Examinations.
2. University of London & Cambridge GCE "O" level in four subjects with a minimum GPA of 2.5 points and "A" Level in two subjects with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (in the scale of A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 and E=1); or
3. American High School Diploma and
4. Acceptable EWU Admission Test Score.
Admission Test is waived for candidates securing a minimum score of 1100 in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
Students who have completed a two-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university can apply for admission into the four-year undergraduate program. However, EWU will consider applications for credit transfer only in cases where previous academic performance meets EWU degree requirements.
Application forms are available for Tk 600 at EWU Accounts Department, 43 Mohakhali, Dhaka 1212. Student can receive application forms by mail through writing to the office of the Registrar along with a bank draft or money order for Tk 600 in favor of East West University. However, it is preferable that the student/guardian collect application forms personally.

Autumn 2008 semester
1. Students selected for admission for Autumn 2008 will have to complete their advising and course registration on Monday 4th August & Tuesday 5th August’08 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
2. The students will have to complete their course registration between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM with the respective advisors. The advisors will be located at the Library Building (ground floor, House- 6, Road-14 Baridhara ).
3. There will be an ‘Orientation Programme’ on Saturday 16th August at 10:30 AM (83 Suhrawardy Avenue, Baridhara); all new students must attend this programme.
4. All provisionally admitted students will be given provisional admission for ‘Autumn 2008’ semester only. Within this period they have to produce the required documents to regularize their admission from provisional to regular. Otherwise the university reserves the right to cancel their admission.
5. All fees have to be paid during the allotted dates at the mentioned bank booths. Bank, branch names and dates will be written on your pay slip.
6. All students of IUB must have valid student ID card in
their possession.
7. Autumn 2008 classes will commence from Sunday 17th August’08.
